Clean Water Should Belong to Everyone

Water For Everyone — Public Statement
Water is one of the most basic needs of human life.
It should never be something people struggle to access, and it should never be treated like a luxury reserved only for those who can afford it. Clean drinking water is not just a resource — it is a foundation for health, dignity, and quality of life.
Water For Everyone is built on a simple belief: access to clean water should be available to every person, everywhere.
This project begins with a small idea — creating accessible water stations that allow people to obtain clean drinking water using reusable bottles. Instead of treating water as a disposable product, the goal is to create a system where water can be shared responsibly, reused sustainably, and accessed by anyone.
The journey will begin small, starting with the first location and gradually expanding step by step. Each phase is designed to demonstrate that a practical, honest system can work — one that prioritizes people and sustainability over profit.
Water For Everyone is not a finished system. It is the beginning of a long effort to rethink how something as essential as water should be shared in our communities.
The hope is simple: that one day, access to clean drinking water will be something every person can rely on, wherever they are.
The Idea
The idea behind Water For Everyone is simple: create a system that allows people to access clean drinking water while reducing waste and making the system sustainable over time.
At designated locations, water stations will provide reusable bottles filled with clean drinking water. To begin using the system, a person makes a one-time payment for their first bottle through the Water For Everyone mobile app or website.
Once the first bottle is obtained, it becomes part of a reusable cycle. When the bottle is returned to a recycling station, the system records the return and allows the user to receive another bottle in the future without paying again.
This creates a simple loop: take a bottle, return the bottle, and receive another when needed.
The goal is to make clean water accessible while encouraging responsible reuse instead of disposable plastic waste. Over time, more stations can be added to cities and communities, allowing people to access water wherever the system exists.
It is a small step toward a larger idea — making clean drinking water easier to access for everyone.

How It Works
The Water For Everyone system is designed to be simple and easy to use. The goal is to provide access to clean drinking water while encouraging reusable bottles instead of disposable plastic.
Step 1 — Get Your First Bottle
When someone visits a Water For Everyone station for the first time, they create an account using the mobile app or web app. A one-time payment of $5 is made for the first bottle. This bottle becomes part of the reusable system.
Step 2 — Scan and Collect
After the payment is completed, the app generates a QR code. The user scans the QR code at the water station, and the machine releases a reusable bottle filled with clean drinking water.
Step 3 — Use the Bottle Anywhere
The bottle can be used anywhere and at any time. There are no time limits. The system simply expects the bottle to be returned before taking another one.
Step 4 — Return the Bottle
At any Water For Everyone location, users can return their empty bottles using the recycling station. The app generates another QR code for the return process. The machine counts the bottles as they are inserted and confirms the return.
Step 5 — Receive Bottles Again
Once bottles are returned, the system updates the user’s account. The next time they visit a station, they can receive the same number of bottles again without paying again.
This simple cycle — take, return, and reuse — helps reduce waste while keeping clean water accessible to everyone.
The Plan
Water For Everyone will begin as a small, practical system and expand gradually as the project grows. The goal is to prove that the idea works before expanding to more locations and communities.
Phase 1 — The First Station
The project begins with a single water station in a major city such as Toronto, Montreal, or Calgary. This station will include one water dispensing machine and one bottle return machine. This phase focuses on testing the system, improving the technology, and demonstrating how the reusable bottle cycle works.
Phase 2 — Expanding Access
After the first station is proven to work reliably, additional stations will be added within the same city. This allows more people to access the system and helps create a small network of water stations across the area.
Phase 3 — City Coverage
As the system grows and gains public attention, the goal is to expand across an entire city. Multiple stations will allow people to access clean water and return bottles at different locations, making the system more convenient and accessible.
Phase 4 — Beyond One City
Once the system has proven successful at the city level, the long-term goal is to expand to other cities and eventually other countries. Because the system is connected through the app, users will be able to take and return bottles across different locations within the network.
The vision is simple: build a system that starts small but grows steadily, making clean drinking water easier to access for more people over time.

Support This Project
Water For Everyone begins with a simple goal: build the first working water station and prove that the system works.
To make this possible, we are raising the initial funding needed to build the first station, develop the basic mobile system, and install the first bottle return machine.
Support for this project will be collected through a public GoFundMe campaign. Every contribution helps move the project one step closer to becoming a real, working system.
The goal of the first campaign is simple — raise enough funding to build and launch the very first station.
Once the first system is operating successfully, the project can expand gradually to more locations and communities.
If you would like to support the project and help bring the first station to life, you can do so through the GoFundMe campaign below.

The first round of funding will be used to build and launch the very first Water For Everyone station. Every contribution will directly support the essential components needed to make the system work.
Water Vending Machine
The main dispensing station that provides clean drinking water bottles to users.
Bottle Return Machine
A dedicated station where reusable bottles can be returned and counted as part of the reuse cycle.
Mobile App Development
Development of the basic mobile and web system that generates QR codes, tracks bottle usage, and connects users to the stations.
Installation and Testing
Setting up the machines, integrating the system, and testing the entire process to ensure everything works reliably before expansion.
The goal of this first funding stage is simple: build the first working station and prove that the system can operate successfully in a real environment.

Estimated First Funding Goal
To build and launch the first Water For Everyone station, the initial funding goal is estimated at $20,000.
This budget covers the core components required to bring the system to life, including the water dispensing station, bottle return machine, development of the basic mobile system, and installation and testing.
The goal of this first stage is simple: build the first working station and demonstrate that the system can operate successfully in a real environment.

Water For Everyone begins with a single station, but the long-term vision is much larger.
The goal is to create a global network of simple water stations where anyone can access clean drinking water using reusable bottles. A system that reduces waste, increases accessibility, and proves that essential resources can be shared responsibly.
One station becomes a network.
One city becomes many.
And over time, access to clean drinking water becomes something people can rely on wherever they are.
